Update: It's July 2, and Adam is back on the trail close to the northern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. He has been keeping notes at each stop along the way, and wants to share as much of his journey sequentially with you as he can. However, he has had a tough finding computers along the way, and typing blogs on his cell phone uses battery power and is difficult while he is sitting in a tent or shelter at nights. For now, he is occasionally sending (or delivering) his hard copy blog entries to his home base. We'll be typing them up for you blog readers as we get them, and will share any other highlights when we hear from Adam.
For now, Adam still plans to finish the trail by early October (and hopefully sooner). He'll stay in touch!
